Breeder Listing Service

Nationwide

The DDBSA Breeder Listing Service is provided as a courtesy to its members and potential buyers. The DDBSA and its Officers do not recommend, guarantee, endorse, nor rate breeders, their kennels, or their stock. We also do not examine individual dogs. Buyer beware in all instances.

The DDBSA accepts listings from DDBSA members for their establishments in good faith. Buyers should be certain to check all matters relating to registration, health claims, awards or certificates, Dogue quality (adult, puppy or otherwise), stud/puppy agreements with the breeders, sellers or stud owners before making any decision.

The DDBSA and its officers, assume no responsibility for the quality, health, or temperament of any dog, nor the warranty, guarantee, integrity, honesty or reliability, either expressed or implied, by any person whose name appears on this list. All such warranties, guarantees and promises are between buyer(s) and seller(s) as individuals. The DDBSA promotes and expects fairness in all buyer-seller relationships. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw any listing for kennels without notice that operate using practices which are in violation of our Code of Ethics or not in good standing with the DDBSA and/or AKC. Listings are only accepted from DDBSA members who have been members for more than one year and are in good standing.

Dogue de Bordeaux Society of America Rescue
Have you ever considered adopting a rescued Dogue de Bordeaux? Here in America, this rare and beautiful breed of mastiff has encountered problems with stray, surrendered, abandoned and abused victims. If you are looking for a devoted companion you will find none better than a rescued Dogue de Bordeaux. Some of these Dogues have gone through hell and would like nothing more than to be loved and to have someone to bestow their own unconditional love and loyalty upon. All Dogues are spayed or neutered and micro chipped prior to placement. For more information about our Rescue program, please contact Viola Shannon at jimviolas@bellsouth.net . Thank you for your attention and consideration.

GingerHaus Bordeaux

Welcome to GingerHaus DDB.  The Dogue de Bordeaux is our passion and the reason we show and breed.  We breed for our next show dog and occasionally have puppies available to pet or show homes.  Before our Sires & Dams are used in our breeding program they are: AKC DNA verified, OFA CHIC certified & genetically tested through Embark Veterinary.   Our litters are reared inside our home using the BioSensor “Superdog” Protocol for Early Neurological Stimulation and Puppy Culture programs.

All puppies are microchipped & enrolled in the AKC Reunite program with Lifetime membership prepaid by us. We are proud members of the AKC bred with H.E.A.R.T program and the Canine Health Foundation. Rua Ri Bordeaux

Rua Ri Bordeaux came to life as the result of my first rescue Zeus in 2009.  I couldn’t believe what an awesome dog he was & I fell in love with the breed completely.

Fast forward several years & several rescues and I decided to try a show dog.  His name was Ruari & sadly I lost him to cancer at 15 months.  My kennel name is in his honor.  But I was hooked.  For me, breeding is about having my dogues with me for life and beyond in their offspring.  I’ve been with the breed now over 10 years and can’t imagine my home ever without one.  I live in beautiful mid-Michigan in the country where the dogues and I get to enjoy our time.

My first litter arrived in 2019 and I was honored by the DDBSA in 2021 with the Dam of the Year, Top Bred-by Exhibitor, and Top Working Dog awards.  I hope to be able to continue to produce dogues worthy of such awards in the future.

Breeding doesn’t happen often here as full health testing must be done first, then finding the right pairing of sire & dam, then the careful evaluation of puppies and homes.  One or two litters every year or two is all that Rua Ri produces and that is only when I want a puppy.

I am a member of my breed club along with a member of the Ann Arbor Kennel Club.

All dogs are in my home, part of my family.  Puppies are placed based on best fit for their temperament.  All puppies are microchipped, vaccinated as appropriate for age, and DNA tested prior to going home.

Please reach out if you’d like to learn more about how I do things here at Rua Ri Bordeaux.

Rogue Bordeaux is located in Las Vegas, NV, and founded on our extraordinary girl Rasza (GCH Stolenhearts Alexstrasza Starseeker CGC), who secured the Number 1 spot in both Breed and All Breed throughout most of 2022, ending the year as the Number 1 Bitch All Breed. She is showing in Westminster 2023, and has just had her first of two litters planned for 2022.  Breeding is focused on health, longevity and temperament, and puppies are raised in a loving home environment, temperament tested, well socialized and introduced to the Puppy Culture program.  All puppies come with microchips, health certificates, a one-year health guarantee and initial vaccinations and deworming.
