Tonka came into my life at the age of 10 weeks. Before that I had not even known he was born because I had told the breeder I was dealing with that I wanted a red masked male DDB ( ignorant I was ). I am so grateful that breeder contacted me to tell me how special he thought Tonka was going to be. He knew looking at him at just 10 weeks and convinced me that he was the one I had been waiting for. I would not have been as happy with any other dogue I could have gotten and there were several I passed on while doing my research for almost a year. Besides his obvious conformation at maturity 27" head, 27" withers, 150lb. in his prime Tonka is also known for his great personality and temperament with people. He loves everyone and everyone who has met him just falls in love with him for one reason or another. We have been fortunate enough for him to grace magazine pages, book pages, coffee mugs, calendars, etc.. but most of all we are proud he is a great - grandfather and is still going. My wife Gina and I have enjoyed watching him grow older every year of his life thus far. His heart is as big as his head. However, its easy to love him... I'm just happy he loves me back
